icap Annual Dinner 2024
On 26th January , the great and the good from the icap community came together to celebrate the valuable work of the UK’s only charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the Irish living in Britain. The Annual Dinner was held at the Kimpton Fitzroy, where guests enjoyed a three-course meal designed by Head Chef Russel Ford. The attendees were treated to a champagne reception with the chance to catch up and mingle with friends, colleagues, and family at the event.
The elegantly dressed crowds were serenaded by the current London Rose, Amy Gillen, as she performed the “Town I Know So Well” on her flute. Members of the fundraising committee, Vito Maloney Burke and Triona Dowd, shared moving accounts from people who have accessed counselling and therapy through icap. This truly illustrated the importance of the work of the charity and resonated with so many of our guests and supporters on the night.

The attendees were also introduced to icap’s new CEO, Fionuala Bonnar, who described her hope for the year ahead. Fionuala revealed exciting new plans to extend icap’s reach into the Irish and connected communities living in the UK and ensure that those in need of mental health support can easily access the charity’s specialist services.
We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, supporters, and guests at the icap Annual Dinner. This much loved calendar event is only made possible by your attendance, and the energy and generosity you bring is what makes it the roaring success that it is.
