Immigrant Counselling & Psychotherapy

Supporting the Irish Community in Britain

icap is the only specialist British-based counselling and psychotherapy service supporting people from the Irish community

We are currently in the process of a phased reopening of our buildings.

During this time, therapy will continue to be via telephone and Zoom.

If you already use our services or would like to get in touch, please call us on our usual numbers – London 020 7272 7906 or Birmingham 012 1666 7707.

These are worrying times for all of us.

We have set up a free confidential helpline offering support to Irish people.

Welcome to icap

We are a charity offering counselling and psychotherapy for the Irish community in Britain.

We provide accessible, culturally sensitive counselling and psychotherapy in a secure, confidential environment.

We offer face to face, online and telephone therapy.

word of mouth

What our clients say

“I really liked my therapist’s way of working and how she encouraged me, supported me, listened to me, remembered so well all we spoke about and also helped me to get to know ‘me’. It took me a long time to realise that I needed/wanted to talk to someone – I am so pleased that ICAP were able to see me – I really want to thank you. I would recommend the service to anyone who needed help – as I did”
