Would you like to help out at icap? We are currently looking for volunteer receptionists / administrative support in both our
London and Birmingham offices.
London Office
Our main office is in Finsbury Park and we need volunteers to cover Reception/Administration for 4 hours one evening a
week and also to help with our Fundraising. You will need good computer skills - Microsoft Office Word and Excel are
essential, Publisher and Photoshop are desirable. You need to also have some event experience. If you have any questions

Volunteer Receptionist & Administrator
We are looking for several enthusiastic and mature volunteers to cover our reception one evening a week in our London office
(4.30pm - 8.00pm), there are also some opportunities to volunteer during normal office hours.
This post will also include assisting with our fundraising and events programme.
Responsibilities include:
Answering the telephone and taking messages for our therapists, passing the message to the appropriate person
Answering the entrance door and showing the clients into the waiting room
Provide support to the administrative team
Ensuring that the premises are locked up at the end of the day
Candidates need to have the following skills:
A good, clear telephone voice
A helpful and patient manner both on the telephone and in person
Clear verbal and written communication skills
A methodical, orderly approach to work
Keen attention to detail
Be a team player
Experience of organising/assisting events is desirable
Microsoft Office Word & Excel are essential
Microsft Publisher & PowerPoint are desirable
The ability to understand and a willingness to work within icap's equal opportunities and confidentiality policies
Birmingham Office
In our Birmingham office we are looking for volunteers to cover the Reception and carry out some administration duties over
lunchtimes for one or more days a week.
Responsibilities include:
Answering the telephone and taking messages for our therapists, passing the message to the appropriate person
Answering the entrance door and showing the clients into the waiting room
Provide support to the administrative team
Candidates need to have the following skills:
A good, clear telephone voice
A helpful and patient manner both on the telephone and in person
Clear verbal and written communication skills
A methodical, orderly approach to work
Keen attention to detail
Be a team player
Microsoft Office Word & Excel are essential
