How can icap help me?

icap is a leading charity providing culturally sensitive counselling and psychotherapy.

Counselling will give you an opportunity to talk with a highly trained professional therapist, in order to help you come to terms with your problems and move forward in your life. You may choose to stop receiving counselling at any time.

Most people who come to us for help are covered by funding from the Irish government, but every week many more people in severe distress who need help contact us. If you are not covered by our existing NHS and Government contracts, counselling can be provided at a low charge, dependent upon your income.

icap also runs group therapy for certain clients, which explores and provide support to those who have experienced specific problems.

icap operates nationwide. We have a London centre, a West Midlands regional centre in Birmingham, and a further network of 100 therapists throughout Britain and Northern Ireland. We also provide outreach services in North West London and a service dedicated to women at the London Irish Women's Centre.

You can find out more about counselling, our therapy and therapists and therapeutic groups on the Clients' Page.
