icap is a registered charity which provides culturally-sensitive counselling and psychotherapy services to people from immigrant communities in the UK, who need help to recover from emotional trauma or depression, and to rebuild their lives over here.

Originally founded to meet the needs of Irish immigrants resident in Britain, we continue today to support the Irish community, and those of Irish descent, as well as people from other immigrant communities. We recognise that emotional distress can affect anyone at any point in their lives, and so we strive to promote good mental health and well-being in a way that is accessible to people from different walks of life.

We have two clinical centres in London and the West Midlands. We also provide therapy through our network of therapists and partner organisations across the UK. Every month our highly skilled therapists help over 600 people.

If you feel that you, or someone that you know, might benefit from our work, you can call or email us in complete confidence. further information on all aspects of our work, can be found easily on this website.
